We offer ‘guided’ school sessions up at Beacon Fell. These can be ‘forest school’ type visits linking to various subjects in the curriculum.

As teachers, we have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and a wealth of experience teaching a huge variety of topics in all years.

Ideas include:

    • Forest School Experience Sessions -including survival
      skills den building, camp fires  
    • Orienteering- teaching in stages and complete with a competition, over a day or 3X afternoons
    • Navigation and map reading skills 
    • Problem Solving and team building challenges
    • Pond Dipping and Minibeast hunting- life cycles, identifying and classifying
    • The great outdoors – maths challenge day
    • Nature Trails and changes over time.
    • Going on a Bear Hunt day
    • Stickman Day        

      Making and taking a Stickman on an adventure.

    • Traditional tales – Little Red Riding Hood
    • Harry Potter – The Forbidden Forest Day
    • Kensuki’s Kingdom – survival day
